Your privacy.
QuietAyah is an offline Quran reader with optional, individual Screen Time controls and Pro reading tools. You do not need to create a QuietAyah account.
Reading data stays on your device
QuietAyah stores your reading position, bookmarks, notes, collections, reading plans, reading history, and preferences on your iPhone. The app does not send this reading data to the developer or to RevenueCat.
Your Apple device-backup settings may include app data. Deleting the app removes its local library; existing backups may retain earlier copies according to your Apple settings.
The app does not use advertising, advertising identifiers, third-party reading analytics, AI processing, microphone recording, or location tracking.
Screen Time permissions
When you choose to enable protection, Apple handles the permission request and app-selection interface. Apple provides privacy-preserving tokens representing the apps you select. QuietAyah stores these tokens and your protection schedule in a shared, on-device container used by its own Screen Time extensions.
Selected-app tokens and Screen Time information are used only to apply and remove your chosen restrictions. They are not sent to the developer, RevenueCat, advertisers, or data brokers. You can stop protection or revoke permission in iPhone settings.
Apple and RevenueCat handle subscriptions
Apple processes purchases and payment details. RevenueCat receives subscription transaction information, purchase status, and a randomly generated app user ID to validate purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, and provide subscription reporting. This reporting includes purchase-history analytics in the RevenueCat dashboard.
QuietAyah does not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address, reading history, notes, bookmarks, or selected apps. We do not receive your payment-card details. We do not use subscription information for advertising tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.
Apple and RevenueCat retain subscription information under their respective policies and service requirements. Deleting your local reading library does not delete Apple or RevenueCat transaction records or cancel a subscription.
Your choices

Exports contain your private notes and reading information. Any service or person you choose as an export destination receives that information. External links connect to another website and are governed by that website’s privacy policy.
